Food for thought

This year we invite you to an evening that feels like sitting down at the kitchen table. Where pans are simply placed on the table and you slide your food to each other. Where memories, smells and stories are as important as the dishes themselves. What was it like in your home? Who cooked? What was on the table almost every week?

During this dinner you will not only discover new flavors, but also the stories everyone brings. Sometimes you scoop from a pan full of food, sometimes from a pan full of questions, images, spices or memories. We invite you to share, listen and be together. The dining concept was developed by food designer Franke
Elshout from Eindhoven in collaboration with restaurant BIJ13.

Theater maker Ilse Wouters hosts this edition of Food for Thought at the kitchen table. Ilse Wouters curiously and playfully takes you on a theatrical experience around Let's talk about home. WE a gathering full of variety, connection and stories. Eating together and really hearing and seeing each other. An interactive evening with smiles and heart-to-heart conversations. Which Food for Thought are you joining?
The performance of Zachtop lachen on Wednesday, November 5 and Confrontaties on Thursday, November 6 have a Food for Thought dinner beforehand. All guests receive the same dinner and there is a wide choice of vegetarian bites from multiple cuisines, flavors and cultures. Book this unique dining concept for €5.
