NDT2 brings two world premieres from two distinctive makers in Dare to Say. Alexander Ekman and Dimo Milev challenge the dancers of the Nederlands Dans Theater’s second company; the pair approach their new creations with a different approach to movement and choreography, adapted to the guidelines surrounding COVID-19.

Former NDT 2 dancer Alexander Ekman decided to focus exclusively on choreography after his own dance career. He made his last NDT work FIT for NDT 2 in the 2018-2019 season. Ekman often composes the music and develops the set for his choreographies.

After a brilliant career as a dancer, choreographer Dimo Milev has developed his own choreographic style in pieces by William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin and Hans van Manen, among others. He previously worked with NDT 2 for Up & Coming Choreographers in 2019. His piece for Dare to Say will be his first creation for NDT's regular programming.

Visit this performance live in the Parktheater, or enjoy a live stream (tickets via NDT) from the theater in your own living room. Two very special and inspiring theater experiences. The choice is yours.
