During the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, sport and culture will meet on the world's largest podium. Breakdance will be part of the Olympic Games for the first time in history.

This afternoon Collabros, specialized in urban culture, is organizing an initial exploration down the road to Paris. The afternoon will be dominated by dialogue between the various stakeholders, who consciously or unconsciously form part of the break-dancing infrastructure that has been established in recent decades. From the community, we will facilitate the conversation with stakeholders: sports federations, sports organizations, dance training, funds, governments and sponsors to get to know each other and share expertise.

Guest speakers

Francesco Wessels - Team NL / NOC-NSF
Peter Blange - Rotterdam Topsport
Nienke Nijenhuis - Centrum voor Topsport en Onderwijs Zuid
Jeffrey van Meerkerk - Nederlandse Algemene Danssport Bond
Paul van Dal - Nederlandse Breaking League

At the conversation tables, attendees will engage in conversation with opinion leaders and organizations from the field such as: The Ruggeds, HFC, And8 Judge, Cultuur Eindhoven, The Hague’s HipHop Center, Dansschool Fresh, Kevin Gopie, MC Mario Bee, Andre Grekhov, Jur Bouterse, DJ Nobunaga.

If you are involved in one way or another or interested in break dance, urban dance & culture or dance sport, we would like to invite you to participate in this first exploration.
