About the traditions and survival of a farming family
For generations, the Staller farm residents have been quietly keeping with the rhythm of the seasons. Seasons of weather and wind, life and death. The issues of the day are not what rule, but rather the world of nature’s laws.
The ultimate goal is not individual happiness, for the residents are only a link in time. Relying on centuries-old traditions and simple common sense, Farmer Staller cultivates his land with calluses on his soul. The tragedy is that his disabled daughter Beppie will never be able to take over the farm. But lying within her is another desire, that for a life full of movement and freedom. When the seasonal worker Sjef appears on the farm, relationships get disrupted. From that moment on, instincts burst out from beneath the silence and into the open. Change is inevitable.
Stallerhof is about the inability to see one another, the power to reach each other, and the attempt to escape insensitivity.
Eat on location
Before the show, the Genneper Hoeve will serve an organic farmer's meal. Reserve a 2-course dinner, including coffee or tea afterwards, on this special farm in the heart of Eindhoven. Inge's Eettafel will serve a delicious regional dish, prepared with organic seasonal products from the Genneper Hoeve. Due to availability of the ingredients, the menu will vary each day. Choose meat or vegetarian and be delighted by these farm-fresh tastes! Reserve your dinner directly when ordering your tickets. If the weather is nice, dinner will be outside; if it rains, dinner will move indoors.

"The transformation from wandering child in the dirt of the stable to something angelic is irresistibly handsome. A portrait of pride" ★★★★
