A story about an unthinkable loss and the unimaginable strength needed to start again from scratch. Based on the autobiographical book by Carolien Spaans.

Finally, they found each other. They started a life together and had a beautiful son. Then, as with every year, he went skiing with his friends. But this time, he never came back. After the funeral, a lifelong hole remains that cannot be filled by the upbringing and love of their child.

The makers of LEEF!, PAAZ, Ma and Emma want to bring life to Doet sneeuw pijn, a tragicomic monologue about a woman who must cope with the death of her husband while, at the same time, going on as a mother in daily life.
