Erik Krikke was sent out to Kandahar, Afghanistan, in the summer of 2007 to work there as an Operations Assistant in the NATO hospital. After his return to the Netherlands, he was diagnosed with PTSD. The scars were deep.

Operatie geslaagd reveals the underexposed side of warfare. A pure story about a relief worker who became a victim himself. This penetrating musical performance is based on the candid autobiography of the same name, which caused a lot of controversy in the Netherlands.

About how his pride diminished, his self-image crumbled, and the many invisible injuries he suffered. With the same frankness, he tells you his story in Parktheater Eindhoven.
