Marcel Hensema (Hollands Hoop, Penoza) plays Alles in de hens. An autobiographical performance about an almost fifty-year-old who goes for a walk to get in touch with himself and the world around him. A warm performance full of beautiful stories, recognizable characters, humor and music by Edison winner and bandoneon player Carel Kraayenhof.
Alles in de hens is a very personal performance, about the midlife of Hensema itself. A conference, not pretentious, no drama, but for a wide audience. An evening with a smile and a tear. In the performance Marcel searches for the meaning of life, he does that with a lot of humor and emotion.
Marcel Hensema has won several Golden Calve awards and played many roles at home and abroad. Last year, he appeared in the performance Stem Kwijt by De Verleiders.
