As an experience expert, Huub philosophizes, discusses, sings, writes and masterfully plays around the ancient institute of marriage.

Actor Huub Stapel previously played in the very successful show Mannen komen van Mars, Vrouwen van Venus and appeared last season as King Lear at Toneelgroep Maastricht. Now, he can be seen in a solo performance again. This time with the dazzling one-man show Het Huwelijk by Haye van der Heijden.

As an experience expert, Huub philosophizes, discusses, sings, writes and masterfully plays around the ancient institute of marriage. He confronts you with the inconveniences and the conveniences, the temptations and the pleasures, the annoyances, the ruts, the torments, the love, the happiness, and in his case, the break-up. And, of course, the hope for new happiness...

This painfully funny performance is suitable for anyone who is married, has been married or has never been married. As well as for anyone who intends to get married or should never even think about getting married.

Reviews:

"With 'Het Huwelijk', Huub Stapel mainly wants to please, nowhere does it become painful or confronting"
