Back to Oz contains everything a spectacular winter production requires. A script based on all the books about Oz by Frank L. Baum, a swinging band, live video images, superb actors, and a happy ending.

Doortje is a weatherwoman and a true young professional. She does her very best, but sometimes things go wrong. The weather just can't be predicted. When there is a short circuit in the studio during a broadcast, she ends up in a whirlwind landing in another world. A world where very different laws apply. Where you have to look at things through green glasses.

At the survival from Leeuw’s (the lion) attack, at the saving of Stro (the strawman) from a fiery death and at the rescuing of Blik (the tinman) from a lifetime of rust. All throughout, Door just wants to go home. But who is the man behind the curtain who dictates everything?

Back to Oz contains everything a spectacular winter production requires. A script by Don Duyns based on all the books about Oz by Frank L. Baum, a swinging band made up of musicians from K.O. Brass! and Slagwerk Den Haag conducted by Gábor Tarján, live video images, eight superb actors, and a happy ending. Back to Oz is music theater that sends you out the door with a little more heart, mind and courage than when you entered!
