For its 25th anniversary in March 2019, Ibérica de Danza premiered an exuberant performance in Madrid. In Figaro, Barbier van Sevilla, the most diverse styles of Spanish dance are showcased and the dancers reveal the summits of their capabilities.

In this adaptation of the original play Figaro by Beaumarchais (1785), we find ourselves in a timeless space of abstract cities that remind us of Madrid, Seville and Vienna. The music also adapts to the refreshed context, ignoring both period and style. The dance performance makes a mockery of established morality and thus remains true to the theme of the original play.
