Fabian is a comedian, and he is autistic. He does both independently. The VLAFEEST program is about how he has learned to live in a better way. “The theater is a good place in which to talk about it. When people talk to me on the street, they think: what a fool. But when I stand on a stage, they think: this is real theater! That feels safe, and I can play to that. ”

In his latest "viral video", he talks about his autism and OCD. He describes, with great humor, how these sometimes bring him into confusing situations.

“Although I help people to laugh at the subject in this way, there is a serious point underneath that I want to raise. Thanks to cabaret, I have found a way to develop myself. Naturally, my show is not entirely about autism, but that condition is an important part of me. The fact is that it gives me a unique view on the world, and I use this peculiarity as an asset. Things that are normal to most people can sometimes seem very strange and absurd to me. But that aside, it is most importantly a cabaret show in which I want to make my audiences laugh… a lot. Because laughter means acceptance, and through acceptance, I can find my own strength. After all, isn't sharing a nice goal?”
