For the first time, top actors Tjitske Reidinga and Mark Rietman are on stage together. Like Count Valmont and Marquise de Merteuil, they play against each other in a dangerous game of seduction and manipulation. The eighteenth-century novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Choderlos de Laclos) became world-famous for its film adaptation in 1988.

This stage adaptation is contemporary, raw and witty. Don't expect flashy costumes; rather, let yourself be stimulated by the scenario in which the actors play double roles: man becomes woman and woman becomes man. This results in an energetic power struggle between the sexes that gives the performance an actual charge. After all, how can people still seduce one another in these times of #MeToo?

A sizzling theatrical evening about power, runaway hearts and the conflicted game between man and woman. "A love affair to be totally absorbed in", says Tjitske Reidinga.
