De vrouw die de honden eten gaf

Het Zuidelijk Toneel
Penetrating theater about Michèle Martin
Thu 2 Apr ’20
Fri 3 Apr ’20

In the summer of 2012, Belgium was shocked by the news that Michèle Martin, ex-wife of Dutroux, would get an early release. She had allowed two children to starve and die in a cellar.

In 2014, the book by Kristien Hemmerechts about this woman appeared. Belgium was in uproar again. Reason: Martin was portrayed too humanely.
Top actress, and Theo d'Or and Golden Calf winner Marie-Louise Stheins was fascinated by this novel right from the start. Together with director Julie Van den Berghe, she dares to take on the challenge. Premiering at Natlab. This is going to be intense theater, that's for sure.

  • Thursday April 2 try out, Friday April 3 premiere
  • Location: Natlab (Kastanjelaan 500)

featuring Marie-Louise Stheins / director Julie Van den Berghe
