Het Donker

Sometimes when lying in bed, you feel you have to pee, but you don't dare go to the toilet because there might be a tiger living under your bed. Or perhaps you want to quickly put on some pants, but you can't because there is a monster in your wardrobe. 

In Het Donker, the dark comes to life: emerging from a shadow, a box, your pocket or just a dark corner of the stage.  The dark is mysterious and very scary! Or… is it secretly just exciting in a fun way?

Theater maker Sonja van Ojen takes you on an adventure with a funny, exciting and visual theater performance full of puppets, pop-ups, visual tricks, live music and lots of humor. Together you’ll look for dark and light, for fear of the unknown and for the means to deal with it.
