Music, hip-hop, breaking and freestyling: each discipline has its own cadence. In the robust performance Rhythm & Flow, choreographer Marco Gerris allows disciplines to merge and diverge again. In a stream of energy, the performers allow themselves to be carried away by the beat and play with light and space. They move with each other and come to a perfect synergy, creating a new rhythm. ISH Dance Collective
Choreographer, artistic director and founder Marco Gerris has been successfully finding his way off the beaten track for more than twenty years. Inspired by street culture, ISH brings hip-hop dance and urban sports to the theater. United by the realization that boundaries do not exist, ISH makes dance from elements that you would not immediately label as dance. Freedom of movement arises when you let go of the structures: the connecting force of an open mind.
