René van Meurs has been a fixture of the comedy collective Comedytrain for years. He won the Cameretten jury and audience award, toured sold-out halls with four full-length programs, and was nominated for the Neerlands Hoop in 2018. Dagblad Trouw awarded his last performance Hunkert with four stars: “Vulnerable, personal and very funny.” For his fifth performance, he is once again working with his director Laurens Krispijn de Boer.
