In a humorous way, a boy takes you into his world of cuddles, who really needs to go to the toilet, and who comes up with all kinds of crazy things to avoid going to bed.

Sheep and Rhino play tag, Hippo slides down the banisters and lands in the bath just in time for Hare's "Splatter-Spatter Fight" while Lion and Crocodile begin their hide-and-seek. And all that while the boy just wants to sleep! And who's on the toilet all the time anyway? Based on the hilarious picture books Hé, wie zit er op de wc? and Retteketet! We're not going to bed yet! by Harmen van Straaten.

Actor and puppeteer Alexander Brouwer brings the beautiful illustrations from both books to life.
