After 20 years, Jack Wouterse is performing the solo Keefman again, based on the book by Jan Arends. A tight, clear and penetrating story about psychiatric patient Keefman who is trapped in himself, knows quite well that things should be done differently, but not how.

In a furious account, he addresses his silent psychiatrist. He rhetorically shows him all corners of the room, reproaches him, and the world, every imaginable breath of headwind. What appears to be an indictment of the system is at the same time the portrait of a special figure.

In a vortex of emotions, Jack Wouterse takes the audience into the inner world of a psychiatric patient. He gives the impotence a voice, creates empathy, rejection, anger, compassion and sadness.
