Club Guy & Roni asks dance makers with whom it feels an affinity to create new work. This is based on the dance company's mission to support and guide talent and to bring it to the attention of a larger audience.

This time, they are presenting a double bill (two performances in one evening) with choreographers Mohamed Yusuf Boss and the duo Anna Jacobs and Hanna van der Meer.

LABA – Mohamed Yusuf Boss
LABA (Somali for 'two') is about the relationship between the individual and a country or home that does not officially exist, such as Somaliland. In this dance performance, Yusuf Boss explores the subject of 'being at home' from the foundations of Hip-hop and the Haka of the Maori. Both styles have a strong collective character. What connects them, and what are their differences?

Shadow Boxer – Lunatics & Poets
Lunatics & Poets combines different disciplines, creating a diverse dialogue. Their most recent works include the film and theater installation South of No North and the performance I am a poem, there is no way out. Under the wings of Club Guy & Roni, they are working with the Poetic Disasters Club.
