A sparkling musical family performance about Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his life as a child star and recalcitrant adolescent, with original songs by Theo Nijland, based on Mozart's music.

How far do you push a child who has talent? What are the effects on that child? How do you actually write a great piece of music? And what happens when friendship turns into jealousy? These are the central questions in Wolfgang, het wonderjong in which we follow the precocious composer Wolfgang 'Wolfie' Mozart and his adolescent friend Antonio 'Tonnie' Salieri in their journey through palaces, student houses and concert halls.

Family performance by Pieter Kramer

Pieter Kramer's family performances have become a cherished tradition in theater land. Kramer and his team made these productions for many years at Theater Rotterdam (formerly RO Theater).  Now the theaters of the Theater Alliance continue this tradition with Toneelgroep Oostpool as co-producer.
