A performance about power struggle – fitting in a time when many women have to wage it to climb to the top.

On the eve of the political party's fiftieth anniversary at the home of party leader Meinrad Hofmann (Waldemar Torenstra), the bomb explodes. Like the series House of Cards, Momentum portrays a world full of intrigue, sabotage, cheating, and a spin doctor who tries to uphold the party’s image at all costs. Meinrad's latest blunder is one too many. As the most powerful man in the land falls lower and lower, his wife seizes her moment to take control.

Momentum is a play by Lot Vekemans. She also wrote Gif, internationally seen as the greatest Dutch stage success for years.
