Through her company Oxygen, choreographer Jennifer Romen impresses with visual pieces full of tight choreographies and visual illusions. Her first full-length theatrical performance Delusion is a visual tour de force that consists of three parts and keeps the audience slightly off-kilter as she takes them on the journey of an adolescent who becomes an adult.
Oxygen scored highly in the American TV program World of Dance, with the group coming in at second. The jury’s praise:
Ne-Yo : “What we saw was moving art, amazing!”
Jennifer Lopez: “I sensed how you wanted everyone to do every move well. You were the maestro of the orchestra, and it worked perfectly.” She said art requires that kind of heart, love, passion and leadership, and at the end of the performance, she could cry tears of joy with choreographer Jennifer Romen because it was so beautiful. "It was perfection!"
Derek Hough: “Oxygen's performance was very good with so many different dance styles, danced very tightly and very theatrically.”
