The Clowns Convention

For this dazzling show, the actors from Wunderbaum and Theaterhaus Jena don their clown suits and go in search of the clown within themselves. With the rise of the horror clown and the disappearance of the circus, the clown's reputation is in jeopardy. Are they still taken seriously? Is society waiting for that confrontational mirror? To the music of beatboxer and musician Joost Maaskant (known as MAASK), they present never-before-seen clown acts and investigate whether clowns are still relevant.
