Somewhere in the Netherlands, Kruimeltje roams through the snowy streets. A cheerful and mischievous 10-year-old street boy. He is all alone and looking for his father and mother. All he has of his parents is a medallion with their portraits in it. Despite everything, he has a positive nature and walks through the streets singing and whistling. He meets Keesie, a tough girl who likes to go on adventures. At grocer Wilkes, Kruimeltje finally finds a home. To his surprise, his father and Wilkes turn out to be old childhood friends! Could Wilkes help him in the search for his father?
Kruimeltje is a real feel-good family musical based on the well-known classic by Chris van Abcoude.
