The Mousetrap premiered in London on November 25, 1952, and is the longest-running stage performance in the world. In the old guest house Monkswell Manor, a number of guests are housebound by the persistent snowfall. Then, a police sergeant reports in connection with a murder that was committed earlier that day in the area. He suspects that the perpetrator is hiding in the guest house. All the guests seem to have a motive, and the tension continues to mount when a second victim suddenly falls. The blizzard prevents anyone from leaving the guest house, including the killer.
The Mousetrap is a masterful murder mystery, where the audience is tricked and haunted by a plot with more twists and turns than a spinning top!
