Baking has never been as popular as it is now. Do you also bake pies, cakes and cookies at home? Then this baking show is especially for you!

Pies, cakes and cookies are increasingly being baked at home, and now also live in the theater! Home baker Rutger van den Broek (winner Heel Holland Bakt) and theater maker Mark Haayema ​​wrote ’t Verrukkelijke Kinderbakboek. In this theater show, they’ll tell you everything about baking. From whole grain to white flour and from milk to fatty buttercream. Oma Bakker will also stop by. She’ll reveal her grandmother's secret recipe for the most delicious cake.

De Verrukkelijke Kinderbakshow is an interactive, fun and educational show in which all senses will be stimulated with smelling, tasting, listening, looking and feeling!

About Rutger van den Broek

Rutger was the first winner of Heel Holland Bakt (2013). He’s written several baking books, including Het Makkelijke Bakboek, Koekjesbijbel and Bakbijbel, and has sold more than 80,000 copies. His blog attracts more than 350,000 monthly visitors. Together with Mark Haayema, he wrote ’t Verrukkelijke Kinderbakboek.

About de Grote Haay

De Grote Haay was founded by Mark Haayema ​​and Dennis de Groot. In addition to being the artistic director of De Grote Haay, Mark Haayema ​​is a writer, puppeteer and theater maker. Mark has written Oma mag ik mijn pop terug?, Joep!, Sterrenwachter, De vriendelijke Draak, Johannes de Parkiet and more.  As an actor and director, he has worked at Theater Gnaffel, Rotheater, Tg Winterberg, Stage Entertainment and elsewhere. He also writes scenes for Woezel&Pip, Pipo the Clown and songs for Kinderen voor Kinderen. He has appeared in the TV series Sesamstraat, Koekeloere, Boterhamshow and de Sprookjesboom. Additionally, Mark organizes the Wortelpop family festival and Het Kinderboekenfeest.
