The end of most relationships has a suspended moment. A intermission, fueled by the fear of what is inevitable. The door is open, but neither dares to be the first to leave, knowing there is no way back.
We Are Doing Great stretches and enlarges this electrically charged moment. Breathing becomes audible, silence gains weight and every movement carries meaning. Love and resistance become intertwined in a vulnerable game between holding on and letting go.
The duet unfolds as an inner dialogue full of doubt and longing. Where did it go wrong. Can the fire be rekindled. The answer lingers while both bodies wait for the other, caught in mutual fear. The performance embodies a single fragment of time. A moment in which tenderness, pain and resistance coexist. Raw, poetic and intense.
