Welcome to the city of tradwives! In this idyllic city, everyone lives the perfect life. The clean laundry hangs neatly on the clothesline, the dead straight lawns are mowed, it always smells like freshly baked apple pie here and the children play happily in the garden.

The man has authority and the woman wears her smile. But after a bizarre, mysterious and repulsive discovery, cracks appear in tradwife life. A not-so-traditional musical in which the sharp satire and pumping music will automatically drag you out of your bubble.

With TRADWIVES de musical, Club Satelliet brings its debut performance to theaters. Club Satelliet longs for fresh, bold and innovative musicals. They make a powerful attempt to step out of their own bubble, seek out stories that are not yet familiar to them either and transform them into an "in your face" musical.

About Brand New Musicals

Brand New Musicals is a collaboration between 26 theaters, O. Festival and NANOEK. On the initiative of programmers Luuk Adema of Stadsschouwburg Utrecht and Joy Kreiken of Zwolle theaters, a tour of 26 theaters will be organized over the next 4 theater seasons for a new Dutch musical by a new creator.
