We all recognize that experience: an event, sometimes small, sometimes crushingly large, that causes what you thought was true until then to suddenly begin to af. What if your life suddenly changes? When you don't want to be who you seem to have become? And the question looms: what role do I myself play in this?

With her third production at Toneelschuur Productions, director Jessie L'Herminez stays true to her fascination with classical repertoire and existential questions. Together with actor and writer Vincent van der Valk, she creates a tragicomic adaptation of Kafka's masterpiece that emphasizes the mystery of existence. As a spectator, you are sucked into an oppressive and playful journey in which you spin in circles, returning each time to where you started. A journey with no final destination.

Due to an injury, the role of Felix Schellekens has past event taken over by Mattias Van de Vijver.
