In De gulden snede, comedian Rob Scheepers takes you on a quest for balance in a country that seems to be falling apart more and more. With sharp observations and humor, he tries to find his place between left, right or somewhere in between.

Once upon a time, the Netherlands was the example of how different currents could optimally relate to each other. We mastered the art of arranging the plane of society in such a way that everyone was satisfied. But that famous golden section is now beginning to show razor-sharp edges on all sides. The result is that in 2025 everyone seems angry and has the skin of a silkworm. In The Golden Ratio, Rob Scheepers attempts to find out where he himself stands. Left? Right? Or does his truth perhaps lie in the middle?

Rob Scheepers has become a familiar face in the cabaret world. De gulden snede is his seventh New Year's Eve conference. He also has five full-length cabaret programs to his name. Besides the theatre, Rob is active as a columnist: he can be heard weekly on Radio 538 with De Week in Oneliners and writes for the Brabants Dagblad.
