The starting point is the sweltering African steppes, but things quickly spiral out of control into a parade party full of sultry African beats in which costumes play the leading role. This performance takes af on a long mat, with three rows of benches on either side where the audience is seated. This way, children and parents sit close to the performance, but don't worry: everyone sits behind a tight rope because we are expecting The Big Five on theatre....

About Meneer Monster
Based in Utrecht, we make unpolished, visual and physical total theater for the whole family. We like to make theater full of fun, physical slapstick and imaginative worlds, close to our audience and outside the lines whenever possible. With The 13-story Insane Treehouse, we won both the Zapp Theater Award and a VSCD Silver Cricket in 2018.
