In a city full of brewing hatred, two young people find each other against all odds. ROMEO + JULIA is an explosive musical theater trip full of raw emotion, sharp lyrics and compelling beats. Made with young talent from Eindhoven - urgent, rebellious and heartbreakingly current.

Stichting Theaterplan presents a raw, contemporary version of Shakespeare's masterpiece, in which the timeless tragedy comes to life in an extremely polarized and violence-torn society. In the city of Verona where the Prince has managed to af a shaky peace after a long time of conflict. But where under the skin tensions are growing between the different parties and any disturbance of order, can lead to a new wave of violence.
