In this new musical family performance, Dawn Collective, de Toneelmakerij and Theater De Krakeling bring to life the beloved princess from Mylo Freeman's books - full of color, fun and music.

When her parents are on a state visit, Arabella unexpectedly gets royal lessons. Her grandmother Omi wants to teach her how to become a real queen - including singing the official national anthem. But Arabella has other plans: have fun, sing together with her friends, and preferably invent a completely new national anthem!

With her friends - princesses from all over the world - Arabella decides to transform the old song into something new. But that is easier said than done. As she fervently follows her dream, she clashes with Omi, who, as a queen, has learned to stick to traditions. But sometimes change begins with a child with a big idea - and an even bigger heart. A performance that touches, inspires and makes you dance!
