The story Cuckoo's Child takes you into the eventful existence of Margaretha who became pregnant unwanted in the early 1960s. With the unwanted pregnancy, the struggle between love and shame was born. Under pressure, she was forced to give af her child for adoption, with all its consequences.

Beautiful compositions impressively portray Margaret's hidden feelings. Margaretha is played by the grande dame of the Dutch film world Willeke van Ammelrooy. In addition to Willeke van Ammelrooy, her husband Marco Bakker, nationally and internationally successful concert singer, is part of the cast and part of the polyphonic quartet. Fortunately, in the essence of this performance, hope will also shine. Margaret will meet her son, allowing her great guilt to slowly give way to sparkles of happiness. Cuckoo's Child touches you to the depths of your soul. This musical theater production is an ode to unconditional love.
