Sun 1 Feb '2609:30 - 10:00Philipszaal
The toddlers dance and play along to famous music by great composers such as Mozart, Smetana and Dvořák with the musical toys they get to hold in their hands on the large rug, close to the musicians. At the end of the concert, they get to try out real little violins themselves. A concert for amazed ears, dancing feet and wiggling asses!
"Krulmuziek is truly one-of-a-kind! The musicality and quality of the string trio is so high that it's almost a shame they only play for toddlers. Although, babies, toddlers and preschoolers deserve really well performed classical music too, and the interaction with Felice keeps these little ones captivated and engaged from beginning to end. It is wonderful to check how the little ones are given space to respond and how Krul responds to this. There is always an eye for the young audience, everyone is seen as they listen to all the beauty Krul and classical has to bring us." (Karin Bannink)

About Krulmuziek
Krulmuziek brings classical music playfully to life for the very young. The basis is the string trio consisting of violin, viola and cello. Musicians Hester Verhoeff, Zdenka Procházková and Sebastiaan van den Bergh and multi-musician Félice van der Sande let children and their parents experience in a playful way how classical music can be cheerful, enchanting, calming and exhilarating. You can clap, dance and even sing along to the music of famous composers. The musicians and the children play peekaboo, make musical jokes and play together. But sometimes you just get enchanted and can enjoy a moment of peace and quiet.
