Personages

Personages is a quest for what happens when fantasy and reality begin to mix. Which stories give us a foothold in the world? And what happens when the stories completely take over reality? For example, when you go blind and can no longer check the world. A search in play for the meaning of stories, memories, time and fantasy in a world that is becoming faster and more factual.

Personages is a collaboration between the Achterdeberg Academy, Visio Education Amsterdam and the band El Mo Collective. The performance is played by a diverse group of visually impaired, partially sighted and blind players. The play is inspired by personal stories of the players, Six personages in search of a writer by L. Pirandello and Doctor Bernhardi after A. Schnitzler.

It tells what is being seen or done if it is important for following the story. Headphones or earpieces are not required.
