Mobile phones and theater don't go well together. In the halls, they can be distracting both for yourself and for the people around you. In addition, they interfere with the transmitters of the technical equipment.

Is your phone tagging along for a night out? You can safely store and charge it during the performance in our ‘little house’ in the Theatercafé. And then, you can go enjoy your evening out.

In the NOW
Setting your phone aside for a night? It takes some getting used to. But the rewards are great. Without distraction, you can truly enjoy the performance. Immerse yourself in the relaxation, the beauty, the emotion, the humor... In short, immerse yourself completely in the NOW.

Artists
Setting your phone aside for the night is also appreciated by the artists. Artists indicate that they are bothered by the light that shines from mobile phone screens. The bright light also creates 'blue faces' in the hall. That, too, is unpleasant for the artists.

Charging point
In the Theatercafé, we offer Huis met een Kluis (House with a Safe). There, you can safely store and charge your phone during the performance. If you don't need to charge your phone, then please turn it off during the performance. By taking one of these two simple steps, you will ensure an enjoyable evening for everyone!

How does it work?
Use of the safe is simple. All you have to do is enter (and remember) a code. Instructions can be found next to the safes.
Each safe features three cables that are suitable for most brands of phones.
