What happens to your purchased tickets?
Do you have tickets for one or more performances in the period March to June 2020? First of all, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding of the recent times.
In consultation with artists, impresariats and producers, we are working hard to move as many performances as possible to another date.
Your tickets remain valid!
We are in line with the national agreement Save your ticket, enjoy later. This means that your purchased tickets (including any additional theater dinners or arrangements) will in any case remain valid. If moving the performance is not an option, there is of course compensation in the form of a voucher or money back.
You will receive a voucher worth the purchase amount of your tickets (and theaterdinner / drinks arrangement purchased). The voucher is valid for the purchase of future tickets, theater dinners and packages in the Parktheater. In this way you have the prospect of something beautiful and you help us absorb the economic blow and prepare us for the future.
The voucher is valid for two years and can be used online, by telephone and at the box office to purchase tickets in the Parktheater. If you do not use the voucher within the validity period, you can still receive a refund.
If you do not want to accept the voucher, it is of course still possible to have the amount refunded on your bank account.
Our visitors regularly ask us whether "something" can be done to support the theaters. The most important thing is of course that when our doors open, you will visit our theater again. Would you like to provide extra support? Then convert the amount (or a part) into a donation. Your donation will reach the artists and the Parktheater via a distribution key. We thank you in advance for your support.
Save your ticket, enjoy later
April 9, 2020 - Dutch theaters, including Parktheater Eindhoven, concert halls, music venues, event and sports organizers, museums and festivals jointly ask visitors to keep their tickets and thus support the cultural sector. The sector has jointly developed an arrangement, with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and in accordance with ACM rules.
The coronavirus affects us all, including the cultural sector and sport. Many performances, festivals, competitions and concerts are forced to be moved or canceled; museums and monuments close their doors. The various industry associations are joining forces and calling on their visitors to keep their ticket until the doors open again: save your ticket, enjoy later.

I have tickets for a performance until July 1. When will I receive notification of this?
In the meantime, we have emailed or called everyone who bought tickets for a performance from March 12 to June 30 about the cancellation of their performance. The Parktheater is in line with the national policy of all theaters in the Netherlands. Theaters, theater producers, funds and governments are constantly discussing how we can jointly tackle this crisis.
First of all, we would like to thank you again for your patience and understanding of the past. And we would like to ask you to continue that for a while. In consultation with all artists, impresariats and producers, we, like other theaters in the Netherlands, are working hard to move as many performances as possible to another date. This takes time and is a huge job. We will contact you as soon as more is known about the movements and settlement.
Will I get my money back from my purchased tickets?
In any case, purchased tickets remain valid. If moving the performance is not an option, there will of course be compensation. At this moment you do not have to do anything, we will contact you as soon as more is known about the movements and settlement. We hope that you understand this situation and that we will inform you personally as soon as possible. This way we can look for a good solution with all our employees in the near future.
What can I do to support Parktheater and the cultural sector?
This is a very difficult period for many entrepreneurs in the Netherlands. This also applies to us in the cultural sector. That is why your support is important to us. You can help the Parktheater in different ways:
The most important thing, of course, is that when we open our doors, you will visit our theater again.
